I was so sad to learn of the passing of Lori. Lori was always a genuine person. Our earthly loss is heaven's gain, for surely if anyone went immediately to heaven it is Lori. God Bless you Lori, and your family.

Dear Lori,

Words come easy to describe the incredible friendship you extended to me over the years and the lifelong joy I know you brought to your family, friends and co-workers. Each time we met the sparkle you added to the room was caught by everyone, no matter how tough the situation may have been, your ever-present smile and your sense of humor were just a hoot. Happiness has a way of always presenting itself, at every turn, as we proceed through life, thanks for always putting a smile on my face each time I picked up the phone to chat. Every moment is a precious gift to share with those we love and remember those we will miss.

Today a great optimism arises from gathering to celebrate the laughter you brought to everyone you touched. I am sure your indelible spirit and spunk had a great influence on those around you, Kelly, Tom and Don always lit up with similar antics anytime you were in the room. I am not sure who would start what when but meeting with you guys always made me feel at home. Lori, I cannot help but believe you played a large part in the indelible display of respect and openness everyone had for all participants and visitors. I grew up and worked in a small town and I know how you get to know your neighbors, family and friends well. I can only imagine the impact your personality made on Worland, I giggle at the thought of you greeting everyone you met as you went through your daily routine of running errands and coordinating events for the team. You embraced each activity with the goal of finding a little fun, never taking anything too seriously; you do realize this internal optimism flowed through to the lightness and truly wonderful time everyone had.

Your great sense of humor and way of making people feel comfortable will continue in the memories you left for all of us. Thoughts of you periodically as I go through life will make me reflect and smile, particularly as I embrace the curiosity of what you are doing and perhaps just who you may be teasing. Your spirit will be with us all as we share in the celebration of the journey you are taking next and the well-wishes you will spring on us along the way, at any time, when we least expect it. I will play for you today, on my baby grand piano, my favorite song in your honor…..

With love, Linda Armstrong

She is healed now and in a better place. I will always remember her infectious smile and her aura as she entered a room. Prayers, Sandy Tibbs

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to Lori's family. There's such a sense of helplessness when someone we love dies. I'd like to share some scriptural thoughts that really helps me. Prayer is so valuable at this time but it's not that prayer simply makes us feel better. 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, ".. power beyond what is normal ", to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget but it means we recover. The reason we recover is because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28, "... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". Jesus was referring to the resurrection, this is our hope. 2 Cor.1:3 describes our Creator as, "... the God of all comfort ". One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort be your comfort now during this time of sorrow.
