Dear Uncle Ralph, Debbie and Tammie: We are so sorry to hear the news of Aunt Maxine passing away, I have no doubt that my dad Lonnie, Aunt Maxine, Aunt Ora Lee, Randall and Mama are having a grand old time in heaven catching up and thankful to be together again. Aunt Maxine was such a sweet person and I will always cherish my memories of her.

We love all of you and hope we can talk soon.

Maxine and Ralph are treasured as high as any of the people who built good into our lives. Hard to imagine having better next door neighbors. We loved visiting in their home and with the loving family members and friends who joined us through the years. Maxine and Ralph faithfully demonstrated love toward each other, toward family, and toward neighbors. (I will always remember how she let us "swipe" some of her roses to beautify our home.) Ralph, painful for us to imagine existence of "Skipper" without "Max". One endearing memory of Maxine during a private conversation: When I expressed how much good she was doing for Jo and me and others, she so humbly expressed that she could be doing even better. I pray that such humility and lovingkindness will bless her family for the next four generations and beyond. Please cling faithfully to the certain hope that the present mourning darkness will in God's time give way to the MORNING LIGHT, JESUS, Who will bring healing and restoration to all who are in Christ.

Que May fond memories of your loved one bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share these before she passed away. My hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. God has promised us that we will soon be reunited with our loved ones. “There is going to be a resurrection,” the Bible confirms at Acts 24:15. “Do not be amazed at this,” Jesus assures us, “for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29)
