Condolences for Robert Orchard Jr

Comments:
To the Orchard family,
I knew Rob, he was a great man, he was a lucky man to be around livestock and airplanes most of his life. We could hope that we all live a life as good as Rob did. I tried to get a hold of you, April, but wasn't successful, I am truly sorry for your loss.
You have our condolences,
The Flitner's
Pam, Greg, Morgan, Colten, Jordan and Scotlyn Flitner

We first met Rob and his family in the late sixties when we visited the beautiful Orhard Ranch for the main purpose of fly fishing. He landed his plane in a field near where our families including Jerry Hynek, were camped and that was our first and lasting impression of Rob-a man of action. He was the first son of his namesake Bob and together they had the pulse and daily management of the land and the cattle figured out.
Rob and Kenny were both lucky to carry on the witty personality displayed by their father. Knowing Rob and the Orchard family has been a great privilege throughout our lives. We are so sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear of your loss. We enjoyed Rob very much his smiles, his stories and his insight in the ranching business was interesting to listen to. It was an honor to know him and call him a friend. He will be dearly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of loss. The Galloway Family

Rob flew me home to Worland from the ranch when I was around 11 or 12 years old. What a fun trip that was. I still remember it. All of Rob's kids are some of the best people there are. My condolences to the family.

My heart is broken. Just a few days ago I spoke with Rob and we talked of his coming here for a visit. He was my oldest and dearest friend. We went through pilot training together and his Mom pinned my wings on. He's been like a brother since. He was one of the finest truest men in my life and I will miss him terribly. Happy landings old hoss!
