DeEtta Eliece Richardson, 89-year-old, former Green River resident died on March 11, 2016 at Washakie Medical Center in Worland.

DeEtta was born on August 23, 1926 in Brook, Indiana, a daughter of Calie E. and Bessie May (Dutton) Stutesman. As a young woman she moved to Long Beach, CA with her family. It was here that she received her education, and also met Roy Richardson. They were married on August 31, 1944 which was 12 days before he was sent overseas to serve his country during World War II. After the war the family moved to Manila, UT where they raised their 11 children. The family moved to Green River, WY in 1960. After Roy retired, the couple relocated to St. George, UT where DeEtta volunteered as a Pink Lady at the St. George Hospital. She moved to Basin in 2008.

DeEtta loved to read, travel, hunt and fish. She loved camping and cooking for her family whether at home, over a campfire, canning or making candy for special occasions. She also enjoyed crafts, especially painting on different medium such as old saw blades.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in Primary and Relief Society or wherever she was asked.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roy, one son Johnnie, her brother Wayne Stutesman and her sister Mary Jane Reese.

Survivors include her children: Edward (Paula) of Kanab, Utah, Sherry (Kaylin) of Roy, Utah, Linda of Magnum, Utah, David (Valerie) of Riverton, WY, Irwin (Cindy) of Kemmerer, WY, Monte (Debbie) of Lander, WY, James (Irene) of Evanston, WY, Melvin (Else) of Hayden, CO, Kelly of Rock Springs, WY and Paul (Janice) of Basin, WY; and DeEtta's sister Joyce Winkleman; 32 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Manila, UT cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com. Bryant Funeral Home in Worland is assisting with arrangements.
