Adolfo Morales Gonzales

Adolfo Morales Gonzales, 90, passed away peacefully at his family's home in Worland, Wyoming, on September 16, 2025.

He was born on November 1, 1934, in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Felipa Gonsalez (Morales). As a teenager, his family moved to Texas, where he discovered his lifelong passion for farming and working with the earth.

Adolfo later settled in Powell, Wyoming, where he spent the majority of his life farming for Murray Farms. In his free time, he loved gardening at home, especially tending to his flower beds.

Family was at the heart of everything Adolfo did. Though he never married or had children of his own, he treated his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He cherished time spent with his brother Frank and sister-in-law Tula, and was known for his exceptional memory—never forgetting a birthday or anniversary.

A quiet, humble soul, Adolfo was generous, respectful, and kind to everyone he met. He never spoke ill of anyone. A devout Catholic, he often spent hours in quiet prayer, deeply rooted in his faith.

Adolfo was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Emilio, David, and Frank; his sister, Clementina Soto; and his sister-in-law, Tula Gonsalez.

He is survived by 19 loving nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.

A visitation will be held at 5:00 PM with a Vigil and Rosary starting at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2025, at St. Barbara's Catholic Church in Powell, Wyoming. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, followed by burial at Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell.
