Obituary
Angela Sue Dietz
September 8, 1946 – February 1, 2025
Angela Sue Dietz, 78, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Worland, Wyoming, on February 1, 2025. She was born on September 8, 1946, to James Bradford and Alice Pauline (Worrick) Nance in Cody, Wyoming.
Angela was a graduate of Meeteetse High School. It was at a rodeo in Meeteetse where she met Larry Batt. She often said he was such a handsome cowboy, and she knew right away that he was the one for her. In April 1966, they were married in Worland, Wyoming. Their marriage was blessed with two sons, Darren Lee and Terry Lane.
In March of 1995, Angela faced the heartbreak of losing Larry to a sudden heart attack. She later found love again and married Robert "Bob" Dietz in February of 2001, only to endure heartache once more with his passing in 2007.
After Bob's death, Angela moved to 6th Street, affectionately calling it "Kravitz Street" due to the close-knit group of neighbors who looked out for one another and became her cherished friends. She found great joy in traveling and spending time with her best friend, Carolyn Christensen.
Angela was a talented woman with a creative spirit. She loved sewing and painting, and the beautiful works she crafted will remain treasures for her family for many years to come.
Angela was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alice; husbands, Larry Batt and Robert "Bob" Dietz and sister, Karen (Nance) Bresach.
She is survived by her sons, Darren (Jessica) Batt of Marana, Arizona and Terry (Donna) Batt) of Worland; brother-in-law, Bert Bresach; grandchildren: James Batt of North Carolina, Kiara Earley, Francis Earley, Jaidan Earley, Ari Conover and Alexa Farmer all of Tucson, Arizona, Chance Batt of Yucaipa California, Hunter (Madison) Batt of Luling, Louisiana and Kadi Peterson of Worland; great-grandchildren: Bronson, Emma, Ensley and Lyric.
Angela will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethany Fellowship Church or the Worland Senior Center. Please send checks to PO Box 524, Worland, Wyoming 82401. Memorial Services will be held at Bethany Fellowship Church in Worland, Wyoming on Saturday June 28, 2025 at 10:30AM.
