Beverley Jean Renner Williams

Beverley Jean Renner Williams left our world to share her 35th wedding anniversary with her best friend Bob Williams on November 22, 2014 in Lake Havasu, AZ. It was the last chapter of Bev and Bob’s love story here on earth and a beginning of their next.

Beverley was born in Greybull, Wyoming on December 11, 1943 to Wilma and Hoover Renner of Burlington. She grew up with her sisters on the Renner Ranch west of Burlington and graduated from Burlington High School in 1962. She then attended and graduated from Weaver Airline Training School in Kansas City, Missouri.

She married James Keller in 1963, traveled with him throughout the State of Wyoming and ultimately settled in Green River. Two children, Benjamin and Angela, were born from that former marriage.

During the time Beverley moved from place to place, she was employed in many different positions relating to the petroleum and soda mining industries, including Joy Manufacturing Company where she met her “best friend” and eventual husband, Robert Williams. They were married on November 22, 1979.

In the early eighties, Bev began her Purchasing career at Tenneco Minerals, Inc. near Green River. Tenneco Minerals was sold to Solvay S.A. of Belgium in 1992. Bev not only became proficient in communicating with headquarters employees in Belgium who spoke various languages such as Dutch, French and German, she achieved many promotions and retired as chief Purchasing Agent from the Green River Plant in April 2001.

After retirement, Beverley and Bob moved to their winter home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona where the two of them enjoyed living in the mild climate near Lake Havasu and vacation traveling together.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Raymond Williams, her parents, Wilma Allen Renner and Hans Hoover Renner, and her brother Neilsen Hoover Renner.

She is survived by her son, Benjamin Hoover Keller of Dayton, Wyoming, her daughter, Angela Keller-Sanchez (Robert) of Maricopa, Arizona, her three sisters, Kristy Clark of Colleyville, Texas, Karene Smith (Ron) of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Joan Skinner (Stanley) of Worland Wyoming, sister-in –law Kay Bennett (Jack) of Boise, Idaho, step son Glen Williams of Green River, Wyoming, step daughters Linda Lowe (Ron) of Garland, Utah, Raylene Kresege (Sam) of Orting, Washington, and Kelly Wells (Shawn) of Rock Springs, Wyoming, 5 grandchildren, 16 step grandchildren and 27 step great grandchildren, and her best friend, Carole Kleinjan of Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

She was a member of the Business and Professional Women of Wyoming and participated in activities at the Elks Lodge # 2399 of Lake Havasu City.
