Obituary

Beverly Baumstarck

December 16, 1945- April 18, 2026

Beverly Baumstarck, 80, passed away on April 18, 2026, at Worland Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Beverly was born on December 16, 1945, in Glendive, Montana, to Harold and Edie Abraham. She spent her early childhood in Wibaux, Montana, before moving with her family to a farm north of Beach, North Dakota. She attended Bonnie View School through the eighth grade and later graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Miles City, Montana. She continued her education at Dakota Business College in Fargo, North Dakota.

Following her schooling, Beverly worked in Bismarck, North Dakota, for three years before marrying Conrad Baumstarck in 1968. Together they built a life on a farm near Linton, North Dakota, where they raised their four children. Beverly devoted herself fully to her family as a mother and partner in the farming operation. She was known as a wonderful cook and canner, sharing her gifts in the kitchen with family and friends. In 1988, she began working at Rosenbluth Travel in Linton.

After the passing of her husband, Conrad, in July 1990, Beverly moved into Linton in 1991, where she continued to live and work until 1994. She then relocated to Bismarck, North Dakota, where she attended Bismarck State College for two years. Following her college education, she worked at the Capitol for the State of North Dakota. During her time in Bismarck, she also volunteered for several years at the St. Mary's Carnival, a role she greatly enjoyed. Beverly retired in 2014 and then moved to Worland, Wyoming, to be closer to her son Wes and his family, where she lived the remainder of her life.

Beverly was a woman of faith who gave her time generously. She taught CCD at St. Michael's Church and later served as a communion minister at St. Anne's in Bismarck. She was also an avid reader and found great joy in books throughout her life.

Above all, Beverly loved her children fiercely and devoted her life to caring for and supporting them.

Beverly is survived by her children: Wes (Kristi) Baumstarck, Sandra (Curtis) Stevens, and Melinda (Thad) Ellsworth; and her nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Baumstarck (1990); her son, Kyle Baumstarck (1997); her sister, Marlys; and her parents, Harold and Edie Abraham.

A Prayer Service and Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Sannes Feist Family Funeral Home in Linton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Linton, with Fr. Mark Aune officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, rural Linton.

Beverly will be remembered for her deep love for her family, her strong work ethic, her faith, and the quiet, steady way she cared for those around her. Online condolences may be made at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
