Boyd Allen Sherman

Boyd Allen Sherman, 43-year-old life long Worland resident. Died at his home on June 19, 2002.

Boyd was born on December 20, 1958, in Worland, Wyoming to Lyle E. (Bud) & Sharon A. (Piel) Sherman. Boyd started working for his father at Roberts plumbing and Heating at the age of 7 and made plumbing a life long career. He attended school in Worland and after high school moved to California and worked as plumber there from 1986 to 1988.

Boyd was married to Robyn Ankeny on December 15, 1978 in Worland and to this marriage where born Jacqueline and Charlene. They were later divorced in 1990. He returned to Worland and later purchased Roberts from his father in January of 1998.

Boyd loved to make labor saving devises and tinkering in his garage. He enjoyed the outdoors where he hunted and fished whenever possible. He also enjoyed restoring old cars and remodeling homes for resale.

He is survived by his parents Bud and Sharon Sherman of Worland, his children Jacqueline & (Robert) Cardenas and their children Robert Jr. & Gabriel all of Santa Clara, CA., Charlene Sherman of San Jose, CA, and Ashley & Kimberly Sherman of Worland, Four sisters, Connie (Bob) Stauffer of Minot, ND. Donna (Bob) Eberle of Worland, Lori (Kent) Bruha, of Nebraska, Holly (Mark) Berryman of Powell, WY. His grandparents, Gene & Natalie Sherman of Thermopolis, & Mary Piel of Worland and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.

His grandfather Bud Piel & Charlie Roberts preceded him in death.

Private family memorial services where held Monday, June 24, 2002 in the Big Horn Mountains. Cremation has taken place.
