Obituary

Cari Celeste Demarco

January 26, 1962 – May 6, 2026

Cari "C.C." Carucci DeMarco, beloved sister, aunt, friend, motorcycle enthusiast, patriot, and woman of deep faith, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was 64 years old.

Cari was happily married to her best friend and soulmate, Albert DeMarco, for over 20 wonderful years until Albert's passing. Their love was undeniable and deeply admired by all who knew them. Albert treated Cari with unwavering dignity, respect, and devotion, and she loved him just as fiercely in return.

Cari was affectionately known as "C.C." to her friends. She was an avid motorcycle rider and longtime Harley-Davidson enthusiast. She especially loved riding her Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic. Cari earned the admiration and respect of fellow riders throughout Connecticut and among members of the CMRA and several motorcycle organizations and riding clubs she proudly belonged to over the years.

Cari was known for her loyalty, trustworthiness, and generous spirit. She could always be counted on to keep confidence and stand by the people she cared about. Cari was a gifted organizer and planner, she frequently coordinated motorcycle runs, weddings, funerals, anniversaries, and countless gatherings and after-parties for her riding community. Cari often expressed her love of others through her cooking.

Cari was "generous to a fault." She had a heart as big as the universe and quietly helped others without ever seeking praise or recognition. Whether in Connecticut or later in Wyoming, where she and Albert retired, people were immediately drawn to her warmth, kindness, and humble spirit. After moving to Wyoming, Cari quickly became involved with the Eagles, the VFW, and various volunteer organizations, always eager to give her time and support to others.

Cari was a proud and dedicated supporter of the NRA for over 20 years and had the opportunity to meet notable figures including Oliver North and Charlton Heston. She deeply loved the United States military and happily volunteered for causes supporting service members and veterans. Above all, Cari loved her Lord, Jesus Christ.

Earlier in life, Cari overcame struggles with alcohol and substance abuse and remained clean and sober for the rest of her life until illness overtook her. Her strength, determination, and resilience inspired those around her.

Though Cari and Albert's time in Wyoming was relatively short, they embraced it wholeheartedly as their home.

At the age of 56, Cari developed early-onset Alzheimer's disease, the same cruel illness that also affected her mother and husband. Despite the devastating diagnosis, she faced her illness with remarkable bravery and determination. In September 2019, Cari moved in with her brother and

sister-in-law, who lovingly cared for her throughout her long battle. True to her Sicilian roots, she fought the disease fiercely and stubbornly for many years.

Cari lived life fully and unapologetically, always on her own terms. Cari's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her.

Cari is survived by her sisters, Toni (Mark), Dori; her brothers, Vince and Marc (Kim); along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends in both Connecticut and Wyoming.
