Obituary Carol Lee Elwell June 26, 1939 – September 8 2020 Carol Lee Elwell, 81, passed away on September 8, 2020 at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Montana.Carol was born on June 26, 1939 in Los Angeles, California to James Christopher and Jean Carol (Conradi) Kocontes. She married Robert Samuel Elwell, a Marine and Truck driver, also from Los Angeles County in 1956.She grew up in Los Angeles County, moved to Santa Cruz County and retired to San Luis Obispo County in California in her later years. After her children grew up, she worked for Safeway in Manhattan Beach and Santa Cruz County for over 25 years. She came to Wyoming in 2013 where she continued her retirement.She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survivors include her son Robert Elwell of Aptos, CA; daughters, Roberta Elwell of Thermopolis, WY, Linda (Edward) Radomsky of Lomita, CA, Karen Elwell of Los Osos, CA and Lee Anne Elwell; brother, Dennis L Kocontes of Redondo Beach, CA; grandchildren, Sam Geier, Jakob Geier, Chase Elwell, Dylan Elwell, Caitlyn (Andrew) Culley, Ethan Radomsky, Stewart Hill and a step-grandson Jareth Pastorelli; one great-grandson, Luc Culley. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to your local Animal Rescue or Shelter in remembrance of Carol.
