Carolyn Lorraine (English) Ruffing

May 1, 1966 – February 22, 2025

Carolyn Lorraine "Lorrie" Ruffing passed away on February, 22, 2025 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. She was born on May 1, 1966, in Montrose, Colorado, to Lehman L. and H. Pauline (Mason) English. She was the youngest of four children.

In 1967 Lorrie moved to Riverton, Wyoming, where she attended school, graduating from Riverton High School in 1984. She married D. Timothy Ruffing on June 2, 1984. To this union was born David Eugene on February 17, 1985, Jerriemy Lehman on April 9, 1987 and Cathleen Marie on July 31, 1989.

Lorrie enjoyed being with her family, studying her family history, spending time with her children, and her six grandchildren, who were the light of her life! (Makayla, Drake, Brayden, Bella, Riley and Jayden). She enjoyed road trips and spending time with her beloved dog. She loved people and she never met a stranger. She loved to go camping, especially at her favorite spot in the Green Mountain. She loved reading and working on a variety of puzzles.

Lorrie was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, her oldest brother, and a son-in-law.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years; three children; one brother, one sister, and six grandchildren.

Her passing was sudden and unexpected. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Lorrie will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday April 26, 2025 at the Worland Community Center Complex with Celebrant Kendra Ware officiating.
