Charles Edgar Pyle, 83 year old Ten Sleep resident passed away on August 20, 2013 at his home in Ten Sleep.

Charles was born on October 9, 1929 in Casper, Wyoming, the only child of James H. and Margaret Wyoma (Hemry) Pyle. He grew up and received his education at Big Trails Country School. He joined the U.S. Navy, serving his country from 1948-1952. Following his honorable discharge he worked for a time in Oxnard, CA as an electronic technician for the United States Government. He remained in this position for over 40 years. He married Sara Munoz in National City, California.

The family moved to Ten Sleep in 1992 to be near his aging mother. He loved the small town life and was pleased to move back to his old stomping grounds.

Even in his spare time, Charles loved to tinker with electronics, fixing many different things for friends and family. He enjoyed playing pool and spending time at the Ten Sleep Senior Center. He loved to visit with friends and have lunch with the guys. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Ten Sleep Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Sara of Ten Sleep and one son, Benedict C. Pyle of Oxnard, CA and one daughter Nancy Phillips of Jerome, Idaho; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
