Charles (Chuck) Howard Sifert

September1, 1939 - October 5, 2025

On October 5, 2025, Chuck was escorted to Heaven by God's angels. He was so ready to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We will all miss his quiet and gentle ways and his friendliness. He never knew a stranger and was always willing to share his faith with others.

Chuck was born on September 1, 1939, in Mason City, Iowa, to Kenneth and Wilda (Griffith) Sifert. Chuck grew up in a home filled with love. His mother sang and played the piano at all times of the day. She made growing up a fun time. His dad worked hard to provide for his family. These life-long traits of love of music and hard work were easily passed on and inherited within Chuck. He joined the Air Force right after high school and served for three years. He married Barbara soon after leaving the military and became a band instrument repairman, which he did for 40 years. A son, Todd, was born into the family and a daughter, Stacy, followed later.

In 1997 Chuck moved to Billings, Montana after a sad divorce. He loved the mountains in Montana, especially the Beartooth's, and he enjoyed hiking as often as he could. He also joined the Gem and Mineral Club and met many new friends and lots, and lots, of rocks. Roller Blading also became a favorite, as he enjoyed that until his knee forced him to stop. Always excited to try new things, Chuck began to dabble in woodcarving, which became an enjoyable hobby throughout his life. He met Lois Mae at the church he attended and two years later they married. They both enjoyed hiking, rollerblading and bowling.

Chuck wanted his own band instrument repair store so Chuck and Lois Mae relocated to Lewistown, Montana and opened a stone. The couple remained there 15 years until the Lord prompted them to move to Worland, Wyoming. Again, many new friends were made and once in Worland their new home was chosen and revealed to them by the Lord. Chuck and Lois Mae always believed that: If we just listen, the Holy Spirit will guide us. Chuck's new hobby was picking up trash along the walking trail and along the highway. He loved doing things for others, and at all times willing to spread his faith. His generous spirit led him to gifting many Bibles to anyone who wanted one. As time moved on, Chuck grew weary and his body was tired. Many times he said, "Lord, take me home". The Lord came calling on October 5, 2025, and Chuck answered and went Home.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Mae; son, Todd Sifert; daughter, Stacy Sifert; sisters, Susan Bury (John), Crystal Bilyou (Larry); brother, David Sifert (Karen); grandson's, Brandon Sifert (Kristen) and Colin Sifert; and one great-grandson, Jordan; Lois Mae's children, Pamela Rowald, Becke Kelly (Scott), Jeffrey Bowen; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Also, many friends.

We are sad, but we take comfort knowing that Chuck is happy in Heaven with his Lord.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, Friday October 17, 2025 at the Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Villa Jr. officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior. Graveside military honors will follow with the United States Airforce, American Legion Post 44 and the Patriot Riders at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
