Clayton Clifford Kalli
June 23, 1934 – September 16, 2019
Clayton Kalli 85 passed away on September 16, 2019 at his home in Thermopolis after a battle with prostate cancer.
He was born June 23, 1934 in Cromwell, Minnesota. He was the son of Hugo and Helen Kalli. After two years of college at the University of Minnesota he joined the Air Force and was sent to Denver Colorado for radon and electronic training and became an instructor at Lowry AFB. After being honorably discharged he pursued a career in the electronics field which led to a job installing telephone switching equipment in various locations.
He married his wife, Linda in November of 1988 and retired from the telephone company in October of 1990. They moved shortly thereafter to Thermopolis in 1991.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, 2 brothers, Dennis(Janet) and Ricky. Also 3 sisters Carol(Mike) Joyce(Jim) and Phyllis(Dick), 2 sons Darryl Kalli(Andi) Michael Knight and 3 grandchildren. David Knight, Dominick Knight and Derek Knight (Samantha) and one great grandchild Wyatt Knight. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Clay loved working on cars and especially enjoyed playing the harmonica, reading and listening to talk radio. He also liked to ride his trail bike. He and his wife had some great fun on their bikes exploring old gold and silver mines in the Colorado mountains. Clay was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a longtime member of the Eagles.
