Coleen Carol Wilson

Coleen Carol Wilson, 70 year old Worland resident passed away at Washakie Medical Center in Worland on September 2, 2015.

Coleen was born on July 6, 1945 in Cody, Wyoming a daughter of Robert & Leota (Ellison) Deimer. She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1963. She then attended Casper College. She then went to work for the Casper Chamber of Commerce during this time she met Gary Wilson on a blind date. The couple was later married on October 21, 1967 in Casper.

They lived in Yuma, AZ and this is where their two sons Scott and Tom were born. They returned to Casper for a short time, In 1978 Gary was transferred to Worland with the Federal Aviation Administration. In 1986 Coleen went to work for Davis, Donnell, Worrell and Bancroft as a legal Secretary working until the mid-1990. She then worked for a short time in the banking industry when her health forced her to retire.

Hobbies have included writing poetry, writing songs, playing the piano. She loved spending time with family and friends in the mountains. She was an exceptional Mom. Despite having constant pain she always had a smile on her face and was willing to help anyone in need. She has suffered for the past 40 years from Trigeminal Neuralgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson David. She is survived by her husband Gary of Worland, sons; Scott (Peggy) Wilson of Cheyenne and Tom (Sarah) Wilson of Lander, WY and granddaughter Katie.
