Colton James Lapp

Obituary Colton James Lapp September 25, 1992- June 18, 2022 Colton James Lapp was a fun-loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, and friend. He passed away at the age of 29 on Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Worland. Colton was born in Lovell, Wyoming on September 25, 1992 to Timothy Bruce Lapp and Kristy Lynn (Preator) Lapp Owsley. He received his education in Worland, graduating from WHS in 2011. Colton was an avid outdoorsman, whether shed hunting, camping, fishing or hunting. He loved his jeep and to hill climb on his bike. He was drawn to animals and especially loved his dog, Bandit. Spending time with family was important to Colton, especially his niece, Kinsleigh, nephew, Camden and countless cousins. He was happy and made friends easily. His smile was infectious. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Samuel Lapp and his great-grandparents Everett and Inez Cheeney. Survivors include his father, Timothy Lapp of Worland; mother Kristy (Brad) Owsley of Thermopolis; brother, Nicholas Robert Lapp of Worland; sister, Brittany Nicole Lapp (Corby) of Sheridan; grandmother, Shirley Lapp of Worland; grandparents, Norman and Jeannie Preator of Burlington; aunts: Debbie (Alvin) Dillman of Sheridan, Shelli Lapp of Casper; uncles: Barry Lapp, Jeff Lapp both of Worland, Robert (Roleen) Preator of Utah, Scott Preator of Denver, Jud (Becka) Preator of Utah and numerous cousins. Cremation has taken place. There will be a time to share memories of Colton with the family from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Bryant Funeral Home Chapel.
