Worland

Dawn A. Bruce Whitley, 54 of Worland passed away February 9, 2014 in her home. Daughter of Michael and Carol Bruce of Worland.

Dawn was a beautiful soul, loved by many. Attended school at the Wyoming School for the Deaf in Casper and later graduated from the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind in Great Fall, Montana.

She spent most of her adult life in Billings, MT surrounded by family and friends. It was during that time she had her only daughter Sara (Keever). Dawn was a kind and loving person. If ever there was a need she was there willing to help. Opening her home to friends and family in need. Especially her nieces and nephews. She could always find the best in everyone.

In 2006 she moved to Worland, Wyoming after suffering a stroke. In Worland she was close to her daughter, son-in-law and grandsons who meant the world to her. The time she had watching them grow made her so happy and full of joy. This move also brought her closer to her parents. She loved the afternoons at their home and the trips to Dirty Anne’s. Never was there a dull moment, especially when her dad and her would poke fun with each other.

Dawn is survived by her Mom and Dad (Carol & Michael Bruce) of Worland, Daughter Sara (Jak) Keever of Worland, grandsons Taylor, Robert, Hayden, and Peyton Keever of Worland. Sister Dana (Ben) Murdick of Billings, MT., Brothers Dennis (Stephanie) Bruce of Sheridan, WY, Mike Bruce of Hays KS, Aunt Donna (Harry) Moberly of Worland and numerous loving cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Dawn received wonderful care at Worland Healthcare and Rehabilitation and Big Horn Enterprises where love and compassion and care was given her through the years. Dawn Ann touched the lives of many in her 54 years on earth and will continue to live on in each one of our hearts.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, February 13, 2014 at St. Albans Episcopal Church with Reverend Ed Farmer officiating.
