Dorothy Agnes Rillahan

Dorothy A. Rillahan 82, passed away March 17, 2001, St Patrick’s Day, in Helena, MT of natural causes.

Dorothy was born in Lismore, Minnesota, a daughter of Frank and Agnes Egan. She was raised with four brothers and a sister on a dairy farm in Ellsworth, Minnesota. She graduated in a class of only 3 students from St. Mary’s Catholic School in 1936.

She received her nursing training at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD and became a registered nurse in 1941. She worked as a nurse for over thirty years. She loved her profession and will be remembered as a kind and caring nurse.

She married Jerry Rillahan on May 14, 1947 in Casper, WY. He died on Feb 14, 1987 in Worland. She and Jerry moved to Worland in 1950 and were active members of St Mary Magdalen Catholic Church for fifty years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; her parents, Frank and Agnes Egan, and four brothers.

She is survived by two sons, Terry (Mary K.)of Peru, NY, and Pat (Karen) of Helena, MT; one daughter, Mary Devin (Kevin) Cannon of Worland; one sister, Doreen Vortherms; and twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
