Obituary Elaine Herman Terry August 20, 1953 – June 19, 2019 On June 19, 2019, Elaine Herman Terry left us and joined the Lord. She fought hard and battled ovarian cancer for a short period. Elaine Jean (Herman) Terry was born August 20, 1953 in Pickstown, S.D. to Wesley and Marilyn (Sater) Herman. She attended school in Rock Rapids, Iowa, until the family moved to Greybull, Wyoming in 1972, just before her senior year. She graduated from Greybull High School in 1973. In June of that same year, she married John Gilmore. To this union was born two children Christopher and Christina. The couple later divorced. In December of 1980 she married Richard Maxwell, Sr. Two more children were added to this union, Tammy and Josh. Richard passed away in 1995. In 2000 she married Tony Terry, he passed away in October 2012. She worked for the Wyoming Retirement Center, retiring in September of 2018. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for 18 years. She had once served as an inside guard. She enjoyed the time she had with her 2 grandchildren Kristina and Daniel. She was a wonderful and beautiful lady who was loved by everyone. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Christina Gilmore and two husbands. She is survived by her children Christopher L. Gilmore, Tammy (Daniel) Griffis of Hemet, CA, and Joshua Maxwell of Greybull; siblings, JoAnn (Tony) Selzler of Greybull WY, Dennis Herman of Greybull, WY, and Nancy (Brian) Dellos of Worland, WY; two grandchildren, Kristina and Daniel, and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday June 28, 2019 at the Shell Community Hall in Shell, WY. Burial will follow at Whaley Cemetery.
