Frank Joseph Hernandez

May 2, 1961- April 12, 2025

Frank Joseph Hernandez, born May 2, 1961, in Toppenish, Washington, passed away due to illness at his home in Boulder, Wyoming, on April 12, 2025. He grew up in Washington and Wyoming and was a proud father to Frankie Jr.(Ashley Kinsey)Hernandez, Elesia(Roney) Maradiaga, Alicia(Christian)Reyes, Casey Gilbertson and Patrick Hernandez. Frank was also a loving grandfather to Annabelle Pepper, Christopher Blue, Ramona Mais, Lysandra, Jeremiah, Yarretzi, Giannina, Calliope and Angelo.

Frank was thrilled to have found Ariel Dean, and they were eagerly planning to marry this summer!

Frank attended Job Corps and had a deep love for his family, which he expressed in his own unique ways. Though he may not have been very affectionate, his love for his brothers, sisters, and family was evident and everlasting. He was always willing to lend a hand whenever needed. He cherished his time spent fishing, singing, hunting, crabbing and cooking, all while enjoying country music and oldies. Frank had a big sweet tooth. He brought joy to those around him.

He is survived by his siblings Rosie Moore of Worland, WY; Jesse (Shelly) Hernandez of Worland, WY; Raymond Hernandez of CA; Bella (Victor) Mendoza of West Valley, UT; Paula (Richard) Urioste of Worland, WV; and Johnny (Suzzanna) Hernandez of Boulder, WY, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, San Juan and Polly Hernandez, as well as his sisters Mary, Elizabeth, Virginia Hernandez, Monica Gomez, and Sally Garcia, and his brothers Jimmy, Lupe, and George Hernandez.

Frank will be remembered for his unwavering love for his children, family and his zest for life. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
