Frank Salazar, 50 year old, Worland resident, died early morning on July 20, 2003 at his home.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church on Thursday, July 24th at 10:00 a.m. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, July 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Father Frank C. Palermo officiating. Burial will follow the Mass at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Worland.

Frank was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on May 1, 1953 to Samuel & Estella (Mirabal) Salazar. He received his early education in Albuquerque, and then moved with his family to Monticello Utah where he received further education and enjoyed wrestling. He graduated from the General Motors Auto Body & Fender School in Salt Lake City, Utah. He went to work for Schaffer Auto Body in Monticello for the next several years.

He and his parents moved to Worland in 1983. His father passed away and the family then moved to Casper. His mother passed in May of 2001 and Frank moved back to Worland in the fall of the same year. He has worked for Washakie Works. During the summers he could also be found cutting lawns and helping with yard care. During the winters he enjoyed shoveling snow and being in the out doors.

Franks hobbies included, hunting fishing, camping and repairing cars.

He is survived by his sister Sally & (Al) Martinez of Casper, brother Richard Salazar of South Dakota. Aunt & Uncle, Mr. & Mrs. Felix Mirabal, Max Mirabal, Nephews Victor & Wife Lyn Martinez, Joey, Michael, Lynzi, Dewayne, Adrian, Austin and Andre.
