Fredrick (Fred) L. Richardson Jr., 82 year old Worland resident, died on June 7, 2005 at the Worland Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

Fred was born on June 27, 1922 a son of Fredrick Louis & Mary Merle (Wardell) Richardson in Chama, New Mexico. He attended high school in Antonito, Colorado, Laisla, Colorado, and Denver, Colorado. He served his country enlisting in the United States Navy on December 8, 1941 serving his county with pride until November 10, 1945. Fred then worked for a short time for the telephone company as a lineman. He married Patricia Ann Smith on September 5, 1948 in Basin, Wyoming. He worked as a lineman for Pacific Power where he helped to install most of the power lines in the Big Horn Basin. Mrs. Richardson passed away on December 31, 1993.

Fred lived in Cody, Wyoming for 25 years before moving to Worland in October of 1995.

His hobbies include, fishing, ice fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, camping in the mountains and spending time at the family cabin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife.

He is survived by son’s Robert L. “ Bob” (Janie) Richardson of Worland, Bart D. (Candi) Richardson of Honolulu, Hawaii, daughter, Teddie J. Latus of Spokane, Washington, grandchildren, Darcey Richardson, Wilmington, Delaware, Scott & (Sara) Richardson of Worland, Wyoming, grandchildren, Hallie Ann & Michaela Lynn Richardson.
