Henry Reiber 73 year old, Worland resident died at Washakie Memorial Hospital on August 27, 1998. He was born on May 29, 1925 to Alex & Frieda Reiber in Bayard, Nebraska. As a young man he worked with his family on various farms. They moved to Worland in 1938 where they farmed north of Worland. Henry served in the Navy during World War II on supply ships in the Atlantic Ocean. After his release he returned to Worland where he worked on the family farm until 1952. He then worked as a roofer until the late 1980’s when his health prevented him from working.

He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW and Eagles lodge. He enjoyed hunting , fishing, cooking and working in his yard and garden.

His parent’s four brothers, Alex, Bill, Albert, and Harold, one sister Frieda preceded him in death.

He is survived by two son’s, Henry Lee of Spring Field Missouri, and Tom L. of Helper, Utah, Three daughters Elizabeth “Beth” Fletcher of Napa Idaho, Kim A. Richens of Napa, Idaho, Linda D. Carpenter of Caldwell, Idaho, one sister Irene Mower of Worland, nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter .
