Jeanie Marie Sharp

Jeanie Marie Sharp, 84, passed away on June 6, 2019 at the Worland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Jeanie was born January 19, 1935 in Basin, Wyoming to M.R. and Eleanor Cecelia (Rataezyk) Barnhart. She received her education in Manderson and Worland.
She married Raymond Eugene Sharp on September 2, 1951. The couple made their home in Worland until on Valentine's day, 1952, when Ray was inducted into the United States Army to serve during the Korean Conflict. They raised 5 children, Carol, Susan, Butch, Michael and Mary.
Jeanie was a kind-hearted lady who saw her share of trials, but always kept her chin up and a smile behind her pain. She worked for a number of years for what is now the Worland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She had a knack of making the residents smile as she treated them with respect and a good sense of humor. Family was everything to her and she sacrificed much for them, giving freely all that was hers to give, especially unconditional love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray, son, Michael, daughter, Mary, brother, Darrel, granddaughter, Roxanne and grandson, Andrew.
Survivors include her children, Carol Neufer of Worland, Susan (Rick) Kirby of Worland, Butch Sharp of Prescott, Arizona; grandchildren: Mathew Sharp (Dawn Fraser), Sarah Kirby, Chenoaha Kirby, Adam Kirby, Jerome (Meghan) Sharp, Raymond Sharp, Jeanie Sharp, Ambrosia (Clint) Vidrine; Mike Sharp, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn (Irving) Johnson of Harvey, North Dakota and Norma Worley of Worland and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Bryant Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
