Kathleen Marie Rangel

Kathleen Rangel, 71 year old lifelong resident, passed away on May 10, 2015. She was born on March 28, 1944 to Kenneth James and Sally F. (Rataezyk) Omsberg in Worland.

Kathleen loved taking care of her family. She was a beautiful lady with a simple way of looking at life. Taking care of stray animals, flower gardens, bingo and crossword puzzles were her favorite pasttimes.

She met Mickey Rangel at a dance and the couple have been together since 1958. She learned Spanish on her own so she could communicate with his family. She made fresh tortillas daily and salsa. She was a very giving person who helped wherever she was needed. She donated to many charities.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Mickey Rangel, sons, Julio, Michael and Shane of Worland; daughters, Julie (Rodney) Laib of Cody and Jill Rangel of Worland; sister, Patricia Herrera of Worland; grandchildren, Josh (Erika), Kyle, Dominic, Haley, Abbigail and Jasmine; great-grandchildren, Paichence and Ava.
