Obituary

Kenneth Richard Hall

September 9, 1933- September 2, 2025

Kenneth Richard Hall, 91, passed away on September 2, 2025, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming.

He was born September 9, 1933, in Axtell, Kansas, to Virgil and Helen (Ellis) Hall. Kenneth grew up in Kansas before moving to Sheridan, Wyoming, during his senior year to be closer to relatives. Shortly after graduating high school, he was drafted into the United States Army, where he proudly served his country for four years.

Following his honorable discharge, Kenneth returned to Worland, Wyoming, where he met Anna Stewart at the local roller-skating rink. Since Anna was only 15 at the time, they remained friends until she was old enough to date. A year later, their friendship blossomed into a lifelong love. The couple married on August 23, 1959, and just recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary—a true testament to their enduring devotion. Together, they raised six children.

Kenneth worked for many years as a machinist with WATCO in Casper, Wyoming. Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing with his children and their friends, hunting, and spending time outdoors. An avid marksman, he belonged to the Fast Draw Club and often practiced his quick draw at home—wax bullets still dotting the basement walls as proof. Though quiet and reserved, Kenneth's sense of humor, generous spirit, and willingness to help others made a lasting impression on everyone he met. To his family and friends, he was larger than life.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Roy and Ted Hall; brother, Edward Hall; sister, Shirley Pitt; Virginia Dickinson and great-grandchild, Devon Carrizales.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna; sons, Joe (Cindie) Hall of Utah and Aaron (Ruth) Hall of Kentucky; daughters, Jane Scott of Georgia and Beth (Charles) Scarbrough of Florida; brothers, Leon Hall of Arizona and David Hall of Manderson; sister, Margery Katz of Sheridan; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
