Jul 19, 1950 — Aug 6, 2022

Obituary Linda Lou Klug July 19, 1950 – August 6, 2022 Linda Lou Klug, 72, passed away peacefully at her home in Worland with her loving husband, Jim at her side. Linda was born on July 19, 1950, in Hazen, North Dakota, one of four children born to Reinhold Julius and Ella Amelia (Wilk) Unterseher. She grew up hunting and fishing with her father. She loved the outdoors and everything it had to offer. As a child, she could often be found outside the back door with a teaspoon...eating dirt. She was mischievous and always kept her parents on their toes. One time she thought it would be fun to push the buggy and watch her baby sister fly out of it. She graduated from Dillon High School in Dillon, Montana in 1970. Following graduation, she moved to Harlowton, Montana with her family. As she was ready to venture out on her own, she moved to Billings, then to North Carolina, living on base at Camp Lejeune with her first husband. As he left the service, the couple moved back to Billings. After their divorce, Linda moved to Seattle, then to Yakima, WA where she met James and began her career as a medical billing specialist. Together they moved to Almont, North Dakota. While there, she worked at Sanford Hospital and enjoyed spending time with all of her extended family. On September 3,1999 she married the love of her life, James Michael Klug and spent the next 23 years by his side. They loved to travel. She especially enjoyed visiting Hawaii. In her free time, Linda enjoyed quilting and embroidering and was known for giving away the blankets she made. She was an amazing cook, specializing in German food. Linda had many special skills and will be missed dearly by all of her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her dog, Meja, and tragically, her daughter, Nikki Esman passed away the day after Linda's passing. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, James Klug; son, Bruce Esman of Billings, Montana; daughter, Julie (Terry) Thorp of Olympia, Washington; grandchildren: Ericka Glenn, Crissy Esman and Brandon Thorpe; great-grandchildren: Aurora, Cruz, and twin granddaughters; sisters: Judy (Mike) Conrad of Salem Oregon and Fay (Gene) Peterson of North Dakota; special nieces: Lin Bricker and Lisa Alvarez; special nephew, Aldo Alvarez and her beloved dogs, Breeze and Peanut. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Online condolences may be made at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
