Obituary

Lori Dee Light

July 6, 1954 – May 9, 2024

We gather in the warm embrace of memory to celebrate the life of Lori Dee Light, whose journey on this earth came to a peaceful close on May 9, 2024. Lori was the embodiment of joy, a woman whose laughter could light up the darkest room, and whose love for Rock and Roll kept our spirits dancing.

Born on a summer day in 1954, Lori's life was a melody that resonated with the chords of love, family, and adventure. She began her life in Great Falls, Montana with her parents, Vernon Edward and Alma Lavina (Boyd) Baumhardt. Her passion for music, especially the timeless tunes of Rock and Roll, was infectious. She was often found dancing to the beats of her favorite songs, a blissful smile playing on her lips, inviting everyone around her to join in the dance of life.

Lori's heart was a harbor of love for her family. She was a cherished mother to Heather and Christopher. Her love extended to her three grandchildren, Ashlee, Jack, and Emmett, who were the twinkling stars in her sky. Each moment spent with them was a precious note in the song of her life.

Traveling was Lori's way of embracing the world. She sought out new horizons with an open heart, collecting souvenirs, friends, and memories. Each journey was a verse added to her story, filled with laughter, discovery, and the simple joy of exploration.

As we bid farewell to Lori, we hold tight to the warmth she left in our hearts. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and the courage to embrace life's adventures. We will miss her deeply, but take comfort in knowing that her spirit continues to travel, free and unbound, in the vastness of the universe she so loved to explore.
