Lorretta married Robert in 1992 and they made their home at Lake Livingston, Texas. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed flowers & plants, and she had a greenhouse at her home. Palm trees and banana trees were some of her favorites.
Everyone had different varieties of golf carts for driving around lake and the sub division, Lorretta had a golf cart the resembled an Amish buggy, she enjoyed visiting friends and giving them starts from her plants while driving around the sub division. One of her favorite things was to go out in the lake in the evenings in their pontoon boat and watch the sunsets.
They travelled all over Texas and Oklahoma with Robert's work in the oil field. She was able to stay with him at many work sites thus enabling her to see almost every place in these states.
In 2005 when Lorretta could no longer be left alone due to her disease, Robert retired to look after her. They sold their home on Lake Livingston and bought a large fifth wheel travel trailer with plans of living the summers in Wyoming and the winters in Texas. After the first trip to Wyoming doctors stated she had to be kept in one place that travelling was out.
