Lucille Ellen Williams

Lucille Ellen Williams 67 year old, Worland resident, died at Washakie Medical Center on July 13, 2004 after a brief Illness. She was residing at Worland Healthcare and Rehabilitation since 2000.

Lucille was born on September 6, 1936 to Calvin and Rinnie (Brewer) Dillon in Manville, Wyoming. She received her education in Ainsworth, NE.

She married Harold “Red” Williams on April 29, 1954. They made their home throughout the State of Wyoming, living in several oil communities. They decided to come to Worland in 1982 where they purchased Worland Liquor Store. Lucille and Red divorced in 1984 after which she renamed the liquor store “Lucille’s”. She continued to run the store until the time of her retirement.

Lucille was a very crafty person. She loved to crochet, knit, do papier-mâché. She enjoyed making dolls and lamps. Her creativeness was greatly appreciated by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Michael and one brother, Frank Dillon.

She is survived by two sons: Douglas (Karmen) Williams of Helena, Montana; Steven (Diana) of Evanston, Wyoming; on brother: Joe (Janice) Dillon of Glenrock, Wyoming; two sisters: Colleen (Clarence) Siebken and Shirley Langer both of Lusk, Wyoming; Grandchildren: Heather (Cameron) VanTassell; Heidi (Luke) Matlack; and Sean Williams; one great-grandson: Caleb VanTassell and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to Worland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in care of Bryant Funeral Home PO Box 524, Worland, WY 82401. Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
