Lucy Lopez Quintana

Lucy Lopez Quintana, 91 year old, Worland resident died on May 7, 2005 at the Worland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Lucy was born on August 15, 1913 in El Paso, Texas a daughter of John & Rosalia

(Naverrete) Lopez. The family moved from Texas to Colorado and then to the Big Horn Basin. Lucy married Louis Quintana on September 1, 1934 in Worland; she lived all of her married life in Worland. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, crafts of all kinds and reading her bible. Her life passion was being a homemaker and being with her children. She was a life long member of the Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Louis on September 20, 1973, her parents, brother, Frank Lopez, sister, Shirley Gallegos and step father John G. Lopez.

She is survived by a brother; Pete (Marion) Lopez of Clatskanie, Oregon, sister; Jennie (Santos) Gallegos of Worland, three daughters; Helen Rangel and Nancy (Larry) Fronk of Worland, and Shirley (Stephen) Maes of Green River, WY. Four sons; Robert (Rosie) Quintana, David Quintana of Worland, James (Lois) Quintana of Powell, and Richard (Patricia) Quintana of Camas, Washington, 15 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
