Magdalena Helen Schneider

Helen Schneider, 86 year old, Worland resident died at her home on December 5, 2006.

She was born on March 27, 1920 in Ft. Collins, Colorado, to Adam & Elizabeth (Kraft) Peil. She grew up and received her education in Hawk Springs, Wyoming. On December 18, 1938 Helen was married to Fred Schneider in Worland where the couple made their home for the next 68 years.

Helen could be found working in her garden, she loved helping at many of the activities at the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church including the ladies aid and teaching Sunday school. She has participated in bowling leagues for over 20 years. Helen has also enjoyed watching baseball on TV and knew many of the teams and players. She also loved knitting and crocheting.

Helen could also be found playing pinochle with family and friends. She loved having her children and grandchildren near her.

Helen was a member of St Luke’s Lutheran church for many years; she was also a past member of the Rebecca’s Lodge.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband Fred, 2 granddaughters, 1 great grandson, 1 infant daughter, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her son Richard (Linda) Schneider, daughter Karen (Dub) Maxwell all of Worland, grandchildren, Cheryl Schock, Matthew Schneider, Terri Logan, Mike Paronto, Romy Ramos and JD Maxwell.
