Margie Anne Gilmore

Nov 9, 1940 — May 14, 2021

Obituary Margie Anne (Clarke) Gilmore November 9, 1940- May 14, 2021 Margie was born in Mishawaka, IN to her father, Ralph Clarke and her mother, Mildred (Yaw) Clarke. Margie's family moved around the Indiana area when she was young. She developed a love for animals at a very young age and her father instilled a special love for horses which she was privileged to have even as a young girl. She never lost her love for animals. When Margie was 15 years old, she moved to the Basin area with her parents. Not long after, her brother Don was added to the family. Margie met her oldest brother's friend, Bill (Wilbur) Gilmore who she eventually dated. He proposed marriage to her on the first date and every date thereafter. She finally said "Yes!" and they were married on February 28, 1958. Together they had four daughters, Jackie, Debbie, Juli and Donna, Margie died at the Wyoming Retirement Center of dementia and other health issues. She was surrounded by her daughters and brother and sister-in-law. Her passing was peaceful for her and her family as her relationship with Jesus guarantees her being united with Him and family who knew Christ who have gone to be with our Lord and Savior before her. Family and friends who also share a personal relationship with Jesus look forward to seeing her again in heaven. Margie loved her family and friends very much. Her priority her entire life was her family to whom she was very devoted. Margie also devoted herself to a life with Jesus and one of her most fervent wishes was that all accept Christ's sacrifice and join with her and others in heaven someday. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings; Norma Reeves, Larry Clarke, Harold Clarke, Eddie Clarke, daughter; Juli Gilmore, and granddaughter; Colleen Young. Survivors include her brother; Don (Debra) Clarke, daughters Jackie (Larry) Larsen, Debbie (Randy) LaBudda, and Donna (Loren) Young along with grandchildren Niki (Bowe) Paxton, Paul (Kim) Kost, Shannon (Daniel) Edwards, Nicole (Tyler Dreisow) Young, Stephanie (Andru Renaud) Jacobson, TJ Gilmore, Derek Young and Zoe Young. She had 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She also loved and treasured her little dog, Honey.
