Marian Maxine Reed, 69 year old Worland resident died at Worland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center on November 29, 2006.
Marian was born on January 10, 1937 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Floyd & Dorothy (McKim) Andrews. The family moved to Casper, Wyoming when Marian was a young girl. She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1955. She worked for Wyoming Automotive for a short time.
Marian was married to Bill Reed in Casper on July 27, 1956; they continued to live in Casper until 1961 when they moved to Worland.
They opened up the DayLight Donut Shop in Worland in 1974 which they ran until 1983. Marian’s hobbies included camping, fishing, painting, bowling, gardening and canning. She loved helping her grandchildren learn to swim. Family was a significant part of Marian’s life. She loved family gatherings on holidays and family vacations. She spent many hours teaching her children and grandchildren the importance of family.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Bill of Worland, sons; Taylor & (Connie) of Glenrock, Gorde & (Connie) of Worland, Marty & (Pam) of Thermopolis, brothers; Bernard & (Mary) Andrews of Casper, Floyd Andrews of Casper, sisters; Audrey Keener of Scottsbluff, Ida Mae & (Doug) Gross of Redding, California, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
