Mary Ann Erickson

Mary Ann Erickson, 90, passed away on December 28, 2022, at St. John's United Hospice in Billings, Montana.

Mary Ann was born on March 21, 1932, in Dupree, South Dakota, the only child of Matthew and Mary Ellen (Marple) Stephenson. She graduated from Dupree High School in 1950 and then earned her bachelor's degree in teaching at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota. She taught school in Billings, Montana and in Germany while her husband was stationed there. She later worked as an administrative assistant for the United Church of Christ in Spearfish and then in the registrar's office at Black Hills State. She and her husband also ran Erickson Drug in Spearfish for over a decade.

She married Marvin John Erickson on July 10, 1955. To this union was born two children, Susan and Stephen.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survivors include her children, Susan Erickson (Danny Brooks) of Billings, Montana and Stephen (Suzanne) Erickson of Worland, Wyoming.
