Obituary

Mary Lee Murillo, age 80, was called home into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on April 29, 2025. Mary was born on September 19, 1944, in Worland, Wyoming, to Guadalupe Hernandez and John Cervantes.

Mary spent much of her life in Wyoming and Montana, where she lovingly raised her five children from her first marriage to Cy Hernandez. Later, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she became a beloved caregiver to Michelle Radcliffe for several years. In her free time, she loved dancing---and it was during one of those nights out that she met her wonderful husband, Jesse Murillo. They married on February 19,1995 and shared 30 beautiful years together. Mary and Jesse took many memorable trips to Mexico, cherishing time with friends and family.

While caring for Michelle, Mary also began working at the Excalibur Casino, where she was honored for over 15 years of dedicated service and remained until her retirement.

After retiring, Mary devoted her time to her children, husband, and grandchildren; whom she adored and spoiled---as only a gammy can.

Mary was preceded in death by 9 siblings. She is survived by her husband, Jesse Murillo; her brother, Felix Rodriguez; her five children—Renee, Jeff, Rod (Jackeye) Stacy, and Cory; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Mom will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, infectious laughter, and, of course, her exceptional cooking—each meal made with so much love. Though she may be gone from our sight, she will remain in our hearts forever.

Funeral services will be held in Worland, Wyoming, on June 27, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Mount Calvary Assembly of God Church, located at 200 N 3rd St. There will be a burial at the cemetery, immediately following the service. Online condolences may be made at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
