Mary Ann Yates

Mary Ann Yates died Friday, July 17, 2009 at Worland Memorial Hospital of a sudden illness.

She was born to William J. Warren and Cassie Hoyle on Dec. 19, 1939 in Worland, Wyoming.

She married Rowdy Yates on Oct. 27, 1972 in Evanston, Wy.

After her marriage to Rowdy Yates, she lived in Rock Springs, Wy., Denver, Colo., Subic Bay, Philippines Island (which she enjoyed very much), and Lemoore, Calif. After returning to Worland/Hyattville area, she and her husband Rowdy owned and operated the Hyattville Cafe before retiring in Ten Sleep, Wy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Doris Kelly.

She is survived by her husband Rowdy, son Brad and his wife Teresa of Rock Springs, Wy., grandsons Steven of Laramie, Wy. and Travis of Rock Springs, Wy., brother Lawrence (Pinky) Warren and his wife Goldie of Thermopolis and Hyattville, Wy., sister Edith and her husband Robert of Rock Springs, Wy., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23 at the Mountain View Assembly of God Church in Ten Sleep with Pastor Donald Gould officiating. Cremation has taken place and a private inurnment of the ashes will take place at a later date. Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
