Michael B. Rangel

November 30, 1970 – April 13, 2023

Michael B. Rangel ("Mike") of Worland, Wyoming passed away on April 13, 2023, after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Mike was born on November 30, 1970, in Worland to Mickey and Kathleen Rangel. He completed high school in Worland. He worked part-time jobs and enjoyed working outside supplying lawn care and rototilling services.

Mike enjoyed many things throughout his life; one of his greatest joys was spending time with his best friend, his chihuahua, Paco. Mike enjoyed listening to music, taking drives with Paco, and spending time with loved ones. He was a proud uncle who loved to brag about his nephews and nieces. No matter what hardship Mike was experiencing in life, his gentle spirit and beautiful soul is what shone brightly. He had a contagious smile that would light up a room all the way to the end. The love, kindness, and time he gave to others will live on forever.

Mike is survived by his siblings, Julio of Casper; Shane of Worland; Julie (Rodney) of Cody; and Jill of Worland; nephews, Josh of Casper, Kyle of Casper, Dominic of Worland; nieces, Haley of Rock Springs, Jasmine of Worland, and Abbigail of Worland; his aunt Pat of Worland and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Mickey and Kathleen Rangel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 13, 2023 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A Prayer Vigil will be held 7:00 PM Friday, May 12 at the church.
