Mitchell Stuart Neumann
July 5, 1955- September 6, 2024
Mitchell Stuart Neumann passed away of natural causes at his home on September 6, 2024 at the age of 69.
Mitch was born on July 5, 1955 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Donald Neumann and Violet (Krajnik) Neumann. Along with Mitch's sister, Corliss and brother Randall, the family moved to Worland, Wyoming where Mitch attended school and graduated from Worland High School in 1973.
After high school, Mitch attended Northwest Community College in Powell, Wyoming, where he met Tammy Harvey. The couple married in 1977 and moved to Fromberg, Montana, creating a home and a family along with Tammy's son, they had one daughter together, Briana Day. The marriage later dissolved.
Mitch left Montana in the mid-90s and lived in Tennessee, Arizona, and Idaho. He eventually found his permanent home in Nampa, Idaho where he resided for the past 25 years until his passing.
Mitch enjoyed gardening, playing cards, barbecuing, skiing, bowling, shooting, computers, and working on genealogy. He was a locksmith who owned and operated MTN locksmith. When he was younger, he worked for Burlington Northern Railroad, and also worked on oil rigs. Later he worked for Micron Technology and Plexus technology before retiring.
Mitch was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Violet; father, Donald; stepmother, Lillian; brother, Randy; sister-in-law, Betty and brothers-in-law, Ted Carper and Tom Mellas.
He is survived by his daughter, Briana (Gabe) Lucero; three granddaughters: Kelsey Neumann, Alexia Lucero and Shaylee Lucero; sister, Corliss Carper-Mellas; stepbrother, Alan (Robyn) Hefenieder; nephew, Kyle Carper; nieces: Lisa Moore, Raymie Bingham, Penny Smith, Brenda Helzer, Ellen Larson; his best friends, Dave Misner and Bill Bell and his neighbor and friend, Wayne Bull.
Mitch will be buried next to his parents at the Riverview Memorial Gardens cemetery in Worland, Wyoming at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
