Myrna Belle Denniston

Myrna Belle (McMillan) Denniston, 73, passed away in Worland, Wyoming at the home of her son on August 2, 2026.

Myrna was born in Powell, Wyoming, one of three children born to Ira David and Emma Josephine (Randall) McMillan.

Myrna’s early childhood was spent in the Big Horn Basin. She eventually met her life-long partner, Ronald Denniston, Sr. The couple married on December 10, 1972, in Casper, Wyoming. To this union four children were born.

Myrna worked in the food industry as a cook and a dishwasher, but her most important job was motherhood. She was a wonderful cook, making delicious treats for her family. She also enjoyed watching movies, listening to music and telling hilarious jokes. She loved spending every moment she could with her grandchildren and loved ones. She was so kind-hearted; the type of person who would give the shirt off her back if it could help someone in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Royce McMillan and sister, Shirley Juhl.

Survivors include her sons, Treavor Denniston, Ronald (Cheyenne) Denniston of Worland; daughters, April Denniston of Worland and Amy Denniston of Thermopolis, Wyoming; grandchildren: Joshua, Ronald, Logan, Jason, Tammy, Damian, Shaenali and two great-grandchildren.
