Randy Scott Striff, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Worland on May 30, 2024. He was 59.
Randy was born on July 15, 1964, in St. Petersburg, Florida, to Robert Warren Jr. and Phyllis Gray (Music) Striff. He served his country with honor in the United States Air Force and later embarked on a lifelong career as an electrician. Randy's dedication and skill led him to join the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) in 1999, where he contributed his talents until his retirement in January of 2021.
After retiring, Randy relocated to Worland to be closer to his grandchildren, whom he cherished beyond measure. Known affectionately as "Gramps" by his grandkids, Randy's every action revolved around them, and his pride and joy were evident in the special bond they shared.
In addition to his passion for his family, Randy found joy in various hobbies and interests. He had a green thumb and found solace in gardening, adored his cocker spaniels, and was an avid fan of NASCAR, dirt track racing, the Cincinnati Reds, the Bengals, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. His enthusiasm for sports was infectious, and he often shared memorable moments with loved ones while cheering for his favorite teams.
Throughout the later part of his life, Randy maintained a loving relationship with his significant other, Dianne Clements. Though separated by distance, their connection remained strong, and Randy deeply cared for her, speaking with her daily.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jeff Striff. He is survived by his son, Jordan (Claire) Striff of Worland and daughter Jaime; brothers, Robert (Tammi) Striff, Tim Striff and Mike (Karyn) Anspach; grandchildren Theo and Bonnie.
