Raymonda Sakal

Raymonda Sakal, 76 year old Worland, Wyoming resident died on March 5, 2011 at Washakie Medical Center following a long battle with COPD.

Raymonda was born on July 10, 1934 in Trinidad, Colorado a daughter of. Jean Noel and Juanita (Gonzales) Oxandaburu She was raised on a ranch South East of Kim, Colorado, she attended her elementary years at "Rancho Viejo" school on the family ranch property. She graduated at Holy Trinity Catholic school in Trinidad, Colorado prior to pursuing her nursing schooling and career in Denver, Colorado. She married Mike Sakal Sr. in Denver, Colorado. They were later divorced.

Her hobbies included: crocheting, gardening, raising flowers in her yard. She worked in the nursing field for many years.

She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, as her family was her greatest pride and joy.

Raye moved to Worland, Wyoming in 2008 where she has resided until the time of her death.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jean Noel and Juanita Oxandaburu , brothers: Jean Noel Oxandaburu, Freddie Noel Oxandaburu , James Cadet Oxandaburu, sister: Virginia "Ginger" Muniz (Louie), and sister –in- law Margaret Oxandaburu, son- in-law Don Grosch.

Villareal, Thornton, CO, Virginia Sakal of Henderson, CO, Mike Sakal of Worland, Jeanna Grosch, Worland, , step father: Howard Kitamura, Denver, Colorado, sisters and brothers: Jean Bollas ( James) Louisville, Ohio, Betty Warren-Reese (Jake Reese) Greeley, Colorado, Harry Oxandaburu, Huron, South Dakota , Henrietta Harmer, Manhattan, Kansas, Howard Kitamura, Denver, Colorado, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
