Rene Richard Garcia Jr.

June 22, 1971 – May 13, 2023

Rene Richard Garcia, 51, passed away at his home on May 13, 2023 in Worland Wyoming. He was born in San Jose, California on June 22, 1971 to Isabel and Rene Garcia, Sr.

He graduated from Worland High School in 1990. He married Angela English in March 2000 at the First Baptist Church in Laramie, Wyoming.

Rene enjoyed music, working out at the gym, and spending time outdoors hiking and fishing. He loved watching movies with his children, and spending time with friends watching sports such as football, and UFC/MMA. Grilling on his grill was his favorite way to cook. His pets were another part of his circle, Bailey, Mojo and Breezy were three of his favorites. Rene was a loving father, son, cousin and uncle. Rene was a hard worker with a comedic personality who knew how to say the right things to make people feel better. Rene will be dearly missed.

At the time of his death, he was employed by Crown, Cork and Seal.

He was preceded in death by a nephew. Rene leaves behind his daughters, Jasmine Garcia of Thermopolis, Kira Garcia of Worland, Emrie Shuman and Chalet Nielsen; sister Linda (Larry) (Haley) Guy of Visalia, California; and numerous extended family and his best companion, Bailey.

A funeral service will be held 2:30 PM, Friday May 19, 2023 at the Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Father Robert Rodgers officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior.
