Richard Joseph Rangel Jr

Richard Joseph Rangel Jr. 39 died of complications due to an infection in the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY at 1:51 am Friday October 10, 2008.

He was born of Richard and Mabel Rangel February 20, 1969 in Worland, WY.

He graduated with his GED from Worland High School in 1989. He was studying Criminal Justice at Everest College thru classes online. He was married to Candy Moore on June 28, 2002 in Worland, WY. His hobbies included computers, hunting, fishing and enjoying his nephews and nieces. One of his best friends was his dog “baby” a German Sheppard. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Thermopolis and dedicated his way of life thru Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Joseph Rangel, Sr.; Grandparents: John & Hercy Rangel, Evelyn Snooks. Aunts and Uncles: Mildred Winslow, Jenavive Anderson, Robert & Barbara McNeil, George Snooks, John Rangel, Jr., Jimmy Rangel. Cousins: Michael Snooks, Jonathan Snooks, Tuco Barriga.

Survivors include his wife, Candy Rangel, mother Mabel Rangel, brother Buddy (Pamela) Rangel and their four kids, sister Michelle Palu and her two daughters, uncle Andy and aunt Gail Snooks, cousins Thomas Snooks, Timothy (Susan) Snooks with their three kids, Jamie (Tina) Snooks with their three kids all of Thermopolis, WY. Cousins Christopher (Melanie) McNeil with their three kids, Shelly Whiting with her three kids all of Riverton, WY. Joanne (Carl) Herald with their child of Kingston, New York. Geneva (Frank) Parker and their two kids of Olathe, KS. Aunts and Uncles Gene and Idha Mercado, Margi Hernandez, cousins Lowell and Punky Peterson and various relatives all of Worland, WY., Aunts Sally, Lupe, Nina, Francis, Poky with uncle Tony (his father’s brother and sisters) with numerous cousins all of New Mexico and Texas.
