Obituary Robert "Arnie" Wesley Barr, Jr. January 24, 1959 – July 3, 2020 Robert Wesley Barr, Jr., 61, passed away on July 3, 2020 at the Shell Creek Campground, doing what he loved, camping with family. "Arnie" was born in Riverton, Wyoming on January 24, 1959, the oldest of four boys born to Robert Wesley, Sr. and Patricia (Carr) Barr. He graduated from Worland High School in 1977. Moving to California in the early 80's, he went to work for Swift Trucking for 13 years. In 2003 he relocated to Oregon where he became a manager at Petro Truck Stop.He married Deborah Rene Abreu on June 2, 2007 in Reno, Nevada. The couple moved back to Worland in 2012. Arnie always enjoyed being in the mountains camping and fishing. He played softball in his younger years. He was a Green Bay Packers and a Michigan Wolverines fan. He also enjoyed cooking and writing in his spare time. He was in the process of writing a cookbook for publication. Arnie loved making big dinners for Thanksgiving and Christmas with his personally created recipes. Family was especially important to him and he loved gatherings that he could show off his cooking expertise. He was a very friendly person and could talk to anyone while making them feel like family. He was preceded in death by his father and daughter, Jennifer Barr McLaughlin in 2017. Survivors include his mother, Pat Barr, wife, Debbie both of Worland; sons, Chris of Medford, Oregon, and Sean of Texas; brothers, Tim Barr of Texas, Rodney (Michelle) Barr and Kim (Kari) Barr all of Worland; grandchildren, Sky, George Anne, Anthony, Jennah, Elizabeth, Caroline, and Annie and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held later this year when the family can gather together.
