Obituary Ronald Allan Blank August 2, 1958-October 6, 2021 Ronald Allan Blank was called home on October 06, 2021. He passed doing something he loved, hunting for elk in the beautiful state of Wyoming. Ron's journey began on August 02, 1958. Born to Ronald and Avalon Blank in San Pedro, California. He was the oldest of 5 children. Ron was raised in Duarte along with his siblings: Mark, Sheri, Dale, and Chris Blank. He graduated from Duarte High School in 1976. Ron married Melinda Hervey in 1989 and they lived together in La Verne, California. Together they raised 4 children: Jason Michael Blank (Kristy Blank), Amanda Jeanne Hillmann (John Hillmann), Daniel Keith Blank (Lisa Blank), Brittany LeeAnne Sproul (Donald Sproul). Ron is also survived by 9 grandchildren. Ron worked at QuadGraphics and was passionate about family, guns, hunting, sports, and cars. He loved projects and helping others around him with theirs. His greatest accomplishment was to raise and guide his children into adulthood, be present at each of their weddings, and be the best "Papa" anyone has ever had. 63 years young, but he had lifetimes full of love.
