Ronda Sue Leonard
January 7, 1959- December 31, 2025
Ronda Sue Leonard, 66, passed away at her home in Worland, Wyoming on December 31, 2025 after a long battle with COPD.
She was born on January 7, 1959, in Rockford, Illinois, to Richard and Beverly (Hayter) Leonard. As a teenager in the early 1970s, Ronda moved to Worland, Wyoming, where she would build much of her life. As a young adult, she married Allan B. Tolley, and together they were blessed with three children: Laura, Dawn, and Richard. Although they later divorced, they remained united in making their children their top priority.
Ronda spent many years working in healthcare, where she had a natural gift for caring for the elderly. In 2006, she met Kevin Bower through a mutual friend, and the two spent the remainder of her years together. They lived for a time in Riverton, Wyoming, before settling in Twin Falls, Idaho. In 2022, they returned to Worland to help care for Kevin's family.
Ronda also worked as a short-order cook for several local businesses. Outside of work, she loved fishing, camping, playing darts, and was an avid bowler. Known for her sense of humor,
Ronda was a true jokester and a people person—someone who could make anyone laugh and feel welcome. She was kind, outgoing, and deeply devoted to her children and grandchildren. Ronda sacrificed endlessly for her family, and all she ever wanted was for them to be happy.
Ronda was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Nays and brother, Rick Leonard.
She is survived by her significant other, Kevin Bower; children, Laura Tolley of Boise, Idaho, Dawn Tolley of Southern Idaho and Richard "James" Tolley of Reno, Nevada; brother, Roger (Becky) Leonard of Boise, Idaho; grandchildren: Noah Tolley, Ayden Archer, and Helen Tolley, Sebastian LaCoaruse, Keller Dehmel and her niece, Breanna Nayes.
A celebration of life will be held this summer in the Big Horn Mountains. Memorial donations may be made to The Humane Society. Please send checks to PO Box 524 Worland, Wyoming 82401. Online condolences may be made at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
