Roy L. White was born on January 18, 1908 in Longmont, CO to Thomas & Emma (Smith) White. He graduated from Weldona High School in Colorado and then attended the University of Colorado where he majored in Electrical Engineering.

He was married to Emma Smith on August 8, 1935 in Boulder, Colorado. He worked in the oil service industry for 21 year and was involved in the early oil productive enhancement in Wyoming. They moved to Worland in 1951 where he owned and operated the Husky Gas and Bulk Plant form 1962 until 1973 when he retired. Roy was a resident of the Big Horn Basin for over 50 years.

They have continued to live in Worland where he enjoyed nature photography and traveled extensively. He as a past member of the Worland Odd Fellows Lodge and loved woodworking and gardening, He was also a member of the Worland Presbyterian Church.

Roy is survived by his wife Arla of Worland, son Howard of Lakewood, Colorado, four grandchildren, Susan Burch of Houston, TX, Thomas White of Hugo, CO, Mark White of Flandreau, SD and Heidi White of Lakewood, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 15, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Worland with Reverend Bill Foster officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the Bryant Funeral Home PO Box 524 Worland, WY 82401
