Ruby K. Weber, 78 year old Worland resident died at Community Care of America in Worland on May 30, 1999.
Mrs. Weber was born in Wantage, England on October, 30, 1920 to Thomas and Florence Greenough. She received her education in England and then went to work for the war department during Worland War II where she worked first in the packing department and then in the clerical department. Here is where she met her future husband Henry Weber; they were married on June 3, 1945 in Newbury, England. After the war they moved to Worland where Ruby raised her family and was active in the St. Alban’s Episcopal Church where she helped with the Alter Guild, choir, and worked with the thrift shop. She was an avid knitter and loved to take care of her family and cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry in August of 1995,and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughter Cheryl and (David) Kohuth of Worland, sister Nellie Mae of England, grandson Daniel and great grandson Tevin of Greybull.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 3, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church with Father Daniel F. Crawford officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the New Hope Humane Society in care of Bryant Funeral Home PO Box 524 Worland, WY 82401
